61 Year Old Grandfather Wins £391k at Gala Bingo
An old Irish Grandfather was the latest bingo jackpot winner at the popular online bingo portal Gala Bingo. And, subsequent to his incredible victory of £391k the fortunate grandpa was extremely elated.
As of now, the 61 Year old man who won the jackpot chooses to remain unknown. According to him, he decided to give Gala Bingo’s popular five reel Irish themed Leprechaun’s Luck slot game a try when he found that he was not able to get any sleep after his shift. When lady luck smiled his way he hit the jackpot. In no time, the sixty one year old took home a large prize of £391,146.
The Luck of the Irish seems to have come true in the case of this old Irish man. The Gala Bingo player who is an aircraft refueller could not believe his own eyes when he had won. It was not until the morning when he actually saw it on the website himself that the truth finally sunk in.
The old man claims to be in shock and admitted that he keeps pinching himself to check if all this is true since such things do not happen to him. He also stated that he had always wanted to be his own boss and that the money had given him the opportunity to do so. He also announced that he had just put in his papers and is now planning to start his own gardening business.
Lesley Whyte, Gala’s PR Manager commented on the win stating that that the website gives away £62 million every month and that it is a delight to hear what the winner is going to do with the money. She wished the old man good luck and also said that there are plenty of other ways for everyone to win something at Gala at the moment, especially, now that the Alice’s Wonderland jackpot is at nearly £100k currently.
