Old Lady Wins £25K Jackpot At Gala Bingo Hall

Such was the case of an 87 year old lady who played at the Gala Bingo Hall in Ashington. This lucky lady ended up winning £250,000.
It was a great day for the lucky 87 year old winner -who did not want her identity to be disclosed- when she won the bingo jackpot at Gala Bingo. What’s more, those who played with her on that day also were fortunate to get a share of the prize. A good portion of these bingo players sitting down for bingo at their local Gala Bingo hall in Ashington found it hard to believe that one player’s jackpot win made the day a hefty pay day for the rest of them.
However, the prize distribution was as per the rules of the game which stated that the big £250,000 prize should be split and shared between the winner and the remaining players who participated in the game. Hence, while the fortunate lady went home with a hefty cheque of £125000, the remaining players got a same share of the rest of the money left, with £2333 credited to their accounts automatically.
According to the Evening Chronicle, bingo players at the Ashington branch of Gala Bingo were completely exhilarated when one of their players bagged the big jackpot of £250,000 in the national game. This was probably one of the best days for the lucky old lady, considering that apart from the fact that she won the big jackpot, she also won the £10,000 house jackpot.
