Shawano County Woman Accused Of Cheating At Bingo
We have heard of poker cheats, blackjack cheats and even cheating at roulette, but bingo is a game that it is almost impossible to cheat at – unless you have an understanding with the bingo caller.
Marilyn Creapeau, a 56 year old bingo player from Gresham has been accused of cheating at bingo. Creapeau is now facing an indictment for theft at the Mohican North Star Casino near Wausau, Bowler.
It is odd for Marilyn Creapeau to have been accused of such a crime since she used to run bingo games at an Indian Casino and is used to this game. Supporters believe that a person like Marilyn Creapeau would not need to cheat at bingo; however, if evidence is found to prove that Creapeau had cheated, then she will stand to face a trial soon.
Marilyn Creapeau has been indicted by a grand jury and she is due to be present at the Green Bay Federal Court after a week. The grand jury that indicted Marilyn Creapeau from Shawano County, Gresham has not stated how much money was taken by her and when it happened. The case seems puzzling enough, but in most such cases the evidence against the doer is enough to put them away for a long time.
Times have changed, and people should know better than to try cheating in this day and age. The chances of getting caught are much higher, and if the largest and most popular of online bingo sites can be indicted then bingo players here and there are definitely going to get caught if they do try and cheat. Bingo is a game all about luck and cheating ruins the integrity of it, many people in the bingo community are still baffled as to how Creapeau managed to cheat at a game like bingo.
